Pulsações e Conexões: Retrato do Antropoceno é um filme experimental idealizado, criado e dirigido de forma colaborativa por Denis Zubieta, Michele Chaves e Lallo Bocchino. O projeto nasce de uma investigação sensível sobre as marcas da presença humana na natureza, mergulhando no conceito de Antropoceno para construir uma experiência audiovisual imersiva.
Realizado em áreas de proteção ambiental e no litoral norte de Itajaí (SC) — entre o Bico do Papagaio e a Praia do Atalaia —, o filme propõe um experimento singular: durante o dia, a equipe registrou imagens dos ambientes naturais; à noite, essas mesmas imagens foram reprojetadas sobre as paisagens, criando uma sobreposição entre a memória recente e a presença física do espaço. Essa reprojeção foi então recapturada em vídeo, formando a matéria-prima do filme.
Michele Chaves assina também a performance central do projeto, trazendo o corpo como elemento vivo que pulsa e se conecta à paisagem. Lallo Bocchino assumiu a montagem do filme, tecendo a narrativa visual a partir desse material híbrido e experimental. Denis Zubieta responde pela produção executiva, articulando a realização do projeto.
O filme conta ainda com a participação de Giliad Marcos e Alex Nahas na direção de fotografia e operação de câmera, e de Márcia Albuquerque, responsável pela fotografia de making-of e pela produção da acessibilidade com legendas descritivas.
Pulsações e Conexões: Retrato do Antropoceno estreia na programação da 15ª Mostra Strangloscope de Cinema Experimental, trazendo à cena uma obra que atravessa fronteiras entre o cinema, a performance e a intervenção ambiental, e que convida o público a refletir sobre o tempo humano e suas reverberações no planeta.

Pulsations and Connections: Portrait of the Anthropocene is an experimental film conceived, created, and directed collaboratively by Denis Zubieta, Michele Chaves, and Lallo Bocchino. The project emerges from a sensitive investigation into the traces of human presence in nature, diving into the concept of the Anthropocene to construct an immersive audiovisual experience.
Shot in environmental protection areas and along the northern coast of Itajaí (Santa Catarina, Brazil) — between Bico do Papagaio and Atalaia Beach — the film proposes a unique experiment: during the day, the crew captured images of natural environments; at night, those same images were reprojected onto the landscapes, creating a layered overlap between recent memory and the physical presence of the space. This re-projection was then re-recorded on video, forming the raw material of the film.
Michele Chaves also performs the central action of the project, bringing the body as a living element that pulses and connects with the landscape. Lallo Bocchino edited the film, weaving the visual narrative from this hybrid and experimental material. Denis Zubieta led the executive production, coordinating the realization of the project.
The film also features contributions from Giliad Marcos and Alex Nahas (cinematography and camera operation), and Márcia Albuquerque (behind-the-scenes photography and accessibility production through descriptive subtitles).
